Inaugural function of newly raised NCC naval unit at D.B.Pampa College parumala was organized on 27th July 2018. The inaugural function started at 11.30 am. Inauguration of naval unit was carried out by our chief guest G.M.Sankar, Brigadier, NCC Group Commander, Kollam. The program began with the welcome note by Dr.Asha Radhakrishnan (Caretaker NCC Unit). The presidential address was by our Principal, Dr.S.Joy. The chief guest encouraged the students with his invigorating speech. In his speech he said NCC aims to develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership, secular outlook, the spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens. The keynote address was given by Captain B.A.Nair Commanding Officer 3Kerala Naval Unit NCC ,Kollam. Felicitations of this program were given by Dr.Savitha Pramod(HOD, Department of Hindi) and Priyadarsini J (HOD, Department of Economics).
