Department of English, Devaswom Board Pampa College, Parumala, proudly released its debut short film venture, “King of Spades”, the first Malayalam short film, in the reverse chronological order- a method of story telling whereby the plot is revealed in reverse order. The story depicted a crime thriller which revolves around the recollection of memories on the murder of a man .It took three months to complete the film which was funded by the students of the department of English. The film was included in the “Clubby Online Minimovie Festival” and earned appreciation statewide.
