A Seminar and Photo Exhibition on WILDLIFE CONSERVATION was organized in the college by the joint venture of Bhoomithrasena Club andDepartment of Zoology on 27-03-2018. The seminar started at 10.00 am in the college Smart Seminar Hall. Dr. S. Joy, Principal presided over the meeting. Dr. S. Sreekala, HOD, Department of Zoology delivered the welcome address. Prof. R. Arun (IQAC Co-ordinator & Head of the department of English) Mr. Vipin V Nath (Member, Alappuzha Natural Historical Society) and Ms. Vidya P. Pillai (Guest Lecturer, Department of Zoology ) offered felicitations.Dr. Mathew Jacob, an internationally renowned Naturalist and Wildlife Photographer, National Geographic Magazine, was the chief guest of the occasion and led the seminar on the topic “Elephants: Behind the Vision”. The seminar came to an end by 1.00pm with the vote of thanks by Dr. Vani S. (Programme Convenor). A wildlife photo exhibition was also arranged at the Zoology Smart Room. A total of 90 photographs of different wild animals taken by Dr. Mathew Jacob, and Mr. Suresh Paippadu (Wildlife Photographer) were exhibited.
